DRUGS AND FOOD COMBINATIONS TO AVOID

You are deformed when you are not informed and it's the reason why we make some life threatening mistakes. Read and learn what to avoid as regards what goes through your mouth into your belly. 1. BROILER BROODING BASICS

Brooding is the “lift-off” phase of chicken development, with the highest percentage of feed going to growth and so producing the most rapid growth rate, giving chicks a good start in life. That good start is extremely important. No failure to achieve optimum growth during brooding can ever be made up later in the grow-out. Both research and on-farm experience show that even a few hours of poor conditions during brooding can do significant harm to overall flock performance. Modern poultry houses and management systems give us the ability to control conditions in the house and give chicks the good start they need. All it takes is paying proper attention to the seven brooding basics.   Brooding Basic1:  Litter Management Litter conditions set the tone for the flock long before the chicks arrive on the farm. For best performance, chicks must be placed on a consistent minimum of four inches of dry bedding at or around 88-92°F. Anything less will cause losses in performance

IMPORTANCE OF VITAMINS IN POULTRY PRODUCTION

For enquiries: Email: ozuluonye1033@gmail.com SMS/call/WhatsApp: +2348021165624 +2348103661002        Vitamins  are a group of organic compounds that poultry only require in small quantities, but they are essential for normal body functions, growth, and reproduction. Best Liquid vitamins for your poultry and large animals A deficiency of one or more vitamins can lead to a number of diseases or syndromes. Vitamins are divided into two categories: fat-soluble and water-soluble . The fat-soluble vitamins are A, D, E, and K. The water-soluble vitamins include vitamin C and the B vitamins. Poultry can make vitamin C, so there is no dietary requirement established for this vitamin. Vitamin C supplementation is useful when birds are in stress. Vitamin A  is required for normal growth, reproduction and maintenance of epithelial cells in good condition (skin and the linings of the digestive, reproductive, and respiratory tracts).
